Justice Notes: Spotlight
A White-Collar Journal forum for criminal justice, lived experience, and the personal search for redemption
Justice Notes Spotlight
This week, I want to pause from my own reflections and shine a light on two organizations doing vital work in the world of criminal justice reform.
White Collar Support Group – a national network that helps individuals and families navigate the emotional, legal, and practical challenges of white-collar prosecution and reentry. It’s a space of compassion and honesty, where stories are shared without judgment, and where accountability and healing go hand in hand.
They will host their second annual conference on October 11, 2025. You can learn more about the conference and its work here. White Collar Support Group
HomeBridge Ventures – a nonprofit based in Connecticut providing reentry services to the formerly incarcerated. They focus on the difficult but essential first steps home: employment opportunities, counseling, and community support. Their mission is to bridge the gap between prison and meaningful reintegration, reducing recidivism and restoring dignity. Their motto is Healing, Hiring, and Hope. You can learn more about this group by visiting this link. HomeBridge Ventures
I’ll be writing more about both of these groups in my Notes, where I can provide a more personal highlight of their work and share ways to connect with them. For now, consider this a shout-out to two communities working tirelessly to restore lives, dignity, and hope.
