Notes from Exile: Strangers
Log/Verse: daily reflections from prison, written every morning at my bunk. Part poem, part log book.
Another excerpt from my prison journal.
STRANGERS
I was always afraid of
strangers,
now I live with
them.
But each day they
coalesce,
while I am becoming,
day by
day,
the strangest stranger
of all.
